Chef Chris Rains

Chef Chris Rains has been an Executive Chef in Nashville for 20 years, hosting kitchen’s such as Wildhorse Saloon and the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Most recently, he and his wife Erica (a media mogul) started The Chef and I. Chris is a beautiful personality with lots of appeal and not camera shy at all. He will be sharing some specialty traditional recipes of his choice, but with a bit of a “Chef Chris” twist. Chris and Erica has been featured guests on the Food Network.

Sara Skillen

Sara Skillen is the founder and owner of SkillSet Organizing.  Sara’s worked in just about every kind of setting you can imagine – from a converted janitor’s closet, to a cubicle in a huge corporation, to telecommuting from her home office.  In all of these situations Sara was intrigued by the ways surroundings can affect our work and productivity.  Sara founded her company in 2012, when she realized that she could combine her love of teaching and organizing to help people from all walks of life. She serves creative, curious, overwhelmed people who want to learn how to manage their stuff, their time, and their technology.  Sara has seen over and over how organization builds confidence, relief, and peace of mind for my clients, and she use a highly personalized, problem-solving approach to tackle their toughest organizing and productivity challenges.

Alicia Jones

Alicia Jones is the Principal and Founder of West End Interiors [WEI], a versatile full-service Interior Design firm based out of Nashville, TN.  Getting her professional start in the field, Alicia attended Middle Tennessee State University where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Interior Design with a previous degree in Textiles and Fashion Merchandising.  Her passion and experience has led her to success within the design markets, with projects spanning the US.  Dedicating her professional career as a client advocate, Alicia established her designs and growing business with a focus on evidence based design and end user research.

Jessica Meyer

Jessica is Living Inspired’s Pint-Sized Correspondent with a love of life. A brain cancer survivor, Jessica has been a familiar face for the past several years at over 100 events, fundraisers, and media for – Make-A-Wish, Stars for Wishes, Monroe Carell Jr Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Extra Life, Rally for Kids, Bows & Ballcaps, Grand Ole Opry, Radio-A-Thons, TV-A-Thons, Cancer Survivorship Conventions, Growing to New Heights, Cause for Applause, Hospital Board of Directors Meetings, Hospital Donor Conventions, Put Your Money Where the Miracles Are, Band Together,  Music for Miracles, Hearts Unsung, CMNH Multi State Media Tours, Hope Magazine, Hospital Industrial Videos, various Non-Profit Blogs, Washington DC meetings with Senators and with the Secretary of Health & Human Services.  She has been honored with ambassador roles for Rally for Kids, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Make-A-Wish, Children Miracle Network Hospitals, and CMNH Champion Ambassador for Tennessee. She is looking forward to working with Living Inspired with Karen Shayne and the amazing cast of My2ndAct: Survivor Stories from the Stage.

Jessica uses her vibrant personality and the wisdom she has gained over the last few years fighting life-threatening brain cancer and her other medical conditions to speak to audiences and raise awareness for childhood cancer research, children’s hospitals, Make-A-Wish and messages to inspire others.
